  • Our platform helps architects and builders select healthy, circular and low-carbon products, thanks to a library of thousands of digital product passports.
  • In addition to the information contained in the EPD* (carbon, water, energy), the passports include product composition, health information, the proportion of recycled or biosourced components, next lives, social aspects, etc. This information will be used to calculate Scope 3 and ESG indicators, and the circular signature of buildings.
  • The platform also provides a database of reusable or refurbishe products.

Design demountable buildings, complete with digital material banks.

  • The platform enables buildings to be designed as "material banks", i.e. with a demountable construction mode, with products that can be easily uninstalled and characterised by their digital passports, and preferably Cradle to Cradle certified.
  • Each building has a "digital materials bank" in the Upcyclea platform, enabling the landlord to manage its resources over time, in particular to manage their reuse or refurbishment at the end of their useful life, and to calculate its Circular Signature.

  • The platform calculates the Circular Signature (or CSRD) of all or part of the inventoried buildings it manages.
  • Signature calculates the following CSRD indicators:
  • Resource Inflow: incoming tonnage, recycled content, biosourced content, reused content
  • Scope 3 (Embodied carbon)
  • Carbon intensity (calculation EN 15978, LCBI*, RICS)
  • ICcomponent (RE2020 calculation)
  • Degree of circularity and demountability
  • Health level
  • Financial effects and residual economic value

  • Together with hundreds of partner manufacturers, Upcyclea offers a library of digital passports containing ESG data for tens of thousands of construction products. The library also contains nearly 2000 generic passports, created by Upcyclea, based on official Default Environmental Data.
  • Manufacturers can declare their passports free of charge. If they wish, Upcyclea can check the conformity of the information declared thanks to the proofs provided by the latter. If compliant, passports are issued with pictograms to help users make their selections.

The Upcyclea library is connected to the world's leading environmental databases.

  • Most of the information contained in passports is declared by manufacturers, but some information are automatically retrieved from several international databases. This is notably the case for EPD data, which contains carbon, water and energy data characteristic of the manufacture, installation, use and recycling of products.
