Cradle to Cradle
Pre-audit
Understanding C2C Certification
Cradle to Cradle® certification is a long and precise process that requires information to be gathered from a wide range of external (suppliers, partners…).
We are finding it difficulty our customers have in collecting all the information necessary to finalize certification.
That’s why Upcyclea offers to carry out a pre-audit to guide you through the certification process. It will enable you to assess, in advance of certification, what objectives can be achieved and what efforts are required.
This pre-audit (at a cost of €3500 excl. tax) will be deducted from the price of C2C certification certification if you decide to continue with the process.
The advantage of a pre-audit :
Embarking on the Cradle to Cradle® certification process without a thorough understanding of your strengths and areas for improvement can be complex and costly. By carrying out a pre-audit with Upcyclea, you benefit from :
- A clear assessment of your current situation Understand where you stand in relation to C2C standards, and identify the most critical areas for improvement.
- Strategic planning Develop a targeted, effective action plan to achieve the desired certification levels, saving time and resources. Get a clear picture of your eligibility and the level (bronze, silver, gold, platinum) you can aim for.
- Risk reduction Anticipate potential challenges and adapt your strategy before fully committing to the certification process.
- A competitive advantage By carefully preparing your path to certification, you position your company as an industry leader in sustainability.
Pre-audit procedure:
- A 1h30 visio during which you can ask all your questions to our Cradle to Cradle Certified™ Products Program Assessor.
The aim of this appointment is to fully understand your product’s properties and manufacturing steps in order to assess eligibility for certification. - Following this interview, our teams draw up a pre-audit report containing the following information:
- your eligibility for certification
- the number of certificates required (depending on the product or range certified)
- the level of certification available
- provisional schedule
- the number of site visits required
- points of vigilance identified
- This report is given to you during a 1-hour video presentation of the results during which you can ask any questions you may have about the pre-audit.
- a detailed for the V4.0 certification (the pre-audit fee will be deducted from the certification price if you decide to go ahead with certification)
